II. Installations

A dark powder room with twin backlit square mirrors, a dark textural plaster relief wall panel behind a double-globe wall sconce, and dark marble vanity counters with wall-mounted faucets.

Sculpted Plaster, Mirror Light

On the studio’s installations practice

“Freestanding fine art works are translated into architectural surface, preserving material logic while responding to site, proportion, and light. What emerges is not a replication, but a continuation - an artwork recalibrated to live within space.”

The room

A sculpted plaster relief hangs on the wall between two backlit mirrors, its surface mottled silver over near-black. Twin globe sconces hold their light close to the glass; dark marble counters and wall-mounted faucets carry the room’s remaining weight in the same near-black register, broken only by the sconces’ cool white glow.

The studio describes its installations as reinterpretations, not copies: “original works are never copied or reproduced - pieces are always reinterpreted as new & original installations developed specifically to the environment.” This relief is one such installation, the fine art language of the studio’s freestanding plaster reliefs translated onto a fixed wall.

In motion
