Can plaster go in high-moisture or high-heat areas?
Absolutely. We curate specific mineral finishes engineered for the unique demands of
every environment. From seamless, water-resistant surfaces for showers, saunas, and
luxury bathrooms to heat-tolerant applications for range hoods and fireplaces, we guide
our clients toward the ideal material.
How do you collaborate with architects and designers?
Our process is highly collaborative, beginning with material exploration and custom
sampling tailored to your project's palette and vision. Site photos, drawings,
renderings, elevations, or supporting inspiration will provide us the information we
need to get you a quote.
Do you work directly with homeowners?
We frequently collaborate directly with discerning homeowners who have a distinct
vision for their space. From the initial material consultation and custom sampling to
the final installation, we direct the technical complexities and execute to ensure a
seamless experience and a beautifully crafted result.
Can finishes be color-matched to my project?
Yes. We formulate custom, integral pigments to achieve an exact tonal match or
complement your design scheme. Because our finishes rely on natural minerals, the colors
carry a depth, subtlety, and luminous quality to the space where they are applied.
Are the finishes healthy to live with?
A core tenet of our practice is a commitment to natural, eco-friendly interior
plasters. Composed of natural lime, crushed marble, and earth pigments, they are
VOC-free, non-toxic, naturally antimicrobial, and vapor-permeable: a breathable wall
system that supports cleaner indoor air.
Do you take out-of-state or international projects?
Quite frequently. While our studio is based out of Chagrin Falls, Ohio, we collaborate
worldwide with private clients and design firms, and are equipped to travel and execute
our advanced craftsmanship globally.
